It’s a fragrant, lemony scented day in Florence. Having come far from remote lands, the warm, humid wind has settled in my garden to get a long-awaited rest. Yawning in a sweet slumber, little puffs of breath escape him, lingering in scents of mint and rosemary. Nestled under a summer hat and tickled from the light that’s playfully drawing on the canvas of my head, I am thinking about dinner. A fast-cooked macaroni and cheese surely won’t do! Because amidst the magnificence and glory of all that surrounds me, I’m compelled to believe that the food that we have here should also be a joyful feast for all the senses. I have never spent so much time thinking about food. I have a dazzling couple of friends coming over for supper. Like a film reel, pieces of a narrative are drifting through my head: her tender footsteps will echo faintly on the heated stone pavement of my front lawn. She’ll step inside and the house will blossom to adopt her. The end will proudly carry the borders of her dress as she steps into my backyard and her smile makes all the trees glow. She will lean towards the man beside her and whisper words that caress his ears such as rose petals. Indeed! A suitable dinner has to be fashioned out!

Enjoy your meals!

Within my lunatic, fast-paced, crazy-flavored life, I do not have time to think about food, hardly have enough time to eat it, and surely never have time to enjoy it! Who does? I always felt society cause you to feel guilty if you invest too long thinking about food, or which makes it eating it. Enjoying your meals is a”me” time that was just not allowed! And now, gazing in yellowish, round moons and listening to the tunes of ancients stones, I felt like Time had pinned my blue-laced dress to the floor and my hectic whirlpool had come to a halt. I was breathing, and thinking about food, and the main point to think about seemed to be the utter perfection of the statues’ god-like contours. The time has come to love my food!

Food for the Mind

There’s an ancient saying that the food we eat influences our thoughts: our understanding, observation, and expression of the world in and around us. I had been reading lately much concerning the Science of Life, the ancient understanding of the publication of Ayurveda. A science created from the mystical spirit of India that helps us comprehend the nature of our own body, what kind of food and lifestyle is suitable for us so that we may have a healthy body and a mind free of distortions and disharmony. As a woman, this was just like tinker bells resounding sweetly in my ears. Is there a girl in this world who doesn’t yearn for that? Therefore there was a book that educates you about the way to eat attractively, how to turn your table into a symphony of scenic flutes and harps, and most of the musical instruments of gods. Yeah, I’d really like to tell that to the hot dog vendor on the grey street outside my office. Now, in the darkened beauty of the rolling hills across Florence, the memories of those pages came swooshing back to me and there was nothing but thoughts of beautiful food in my mind.

The Science of Life

Ayurveda does not just apply to Indian food, it applies to all meals! Following the Vedas, the oldest scriptures in the world, our body is a gift from God, an opportunity for the caught soul to place itself free from the Battle of their life and death circle. A healthy lifestyle is of good physical significance: poor eating habits such as overeating, and eating in a state of tension or worry, and consuming unhealthy foods can lead to bad digestion and that’s that the”root of all disease”. Over this, a healthy lifestyle can help you tame your senses and emotions so you become their mistress, not the other way round. You can visit a website that discusses premier optical sunglasses.
